The group has composed a special music for a classic German film in which the sound and the image become a unique experience. Re-signifying the image as a melodic line, CDC manages to harmonize the scenography painted on the backdrops of Doctor Caligari\’s Cabinet.
The film starring Werner Krauss, Conrad Veidt and Friedrich Feher, is considered an inescapable reference of German expressionism, uses the story of a mentalist who urges a somnambulist to commit murders, to denounce the criminal acts perpetrated by the German government during the first World War.
